Its interesting how an anime... just a three minute scene is enough to change a persons life.
-
Imagine if you met the person that you admire say the words you needed to hear
-
It makes me chuckle every time knowing that Bakugou ran ALL the way up to deku just to tell him he ain’t shit 😂😂
-
People say it’s “cartoon” but what they don’t know is that a cartoon can change a person life
-
“People cry, but not because they’re weak. It’s because they’ve been strong for too long” -Johnny Depp

Chills. Every. Time.

What All Might said "You can become a hero", that wasn't just for Deku, but to all of us. If we work hard and never give up, we too can become heroes in our own way. Go beyond everyone. Plus Ultra.

This scene sold the anime to me. I actually broke down afterwards, because I grew up being told that I couldn't achieve the dream that I wanted to achieve. Family and friends both. But there was one person, funnily enough it was a teacher that I hated in school, that told me I could do it. That if I put my heart into it, that I could do anything I wanted. To be told by someone, especially someone I had originally hated, that I was worthy of my dream and that I could achieve what I wanted when no one else believed it... It was life changing.

The moment where all might says “ You too can become a hero” is one of the most inspiring moments of my life!

I really appreciate that this scene takes place with All Might's emancipated form. I always got the idea that how he behaves in the muscle form is the face he puts on for the public, but when he's skinny he's much more emotive and honest about how he really feels. All Might isn't talking to Deku as the great symbol of peace, but as an old hero who was genuinely inspired by him. And that adds so much more to this scene.

People hating on Deku cause he cry a lot... Ayo.. he is literally quirkless... he does not have any chance to become a hero.. and now... the #1 hero came up to him and say he can.... NO WONDER HE CRIED... WE WOULD TOO😭😭😭

This was the Moment. This was the shot where i knew that this would be an outstanding anime and one of my personal favourites. In just two episodes this show showed so much character development and the essential spirit of this whole anime perfectly with this being the ultimate conclusion. Very few shows, movies, games or books manage this Type of nearly perfect Balance between humour, Action and yet serious and deep tones alongside on point character development. This really is one of the greats.

this scene hits hard every time I see it
-
That one dislike is from Bakugo.

The thing that kills me every time in this scene is how deep Deku’s cry is when All Might tells him he too can become a hero. Like he is so incredibly overwhelmed by both the heartbreak he endured his whole childhood for being quirkless and the shock/new sense of hope from hearing the words his mother never said come out of his hero’s mouth. Seeing his raw cry stirs me deep in my chest and makes me sob every. single. time.

As someone who gave up on life and dreams, this anime was a hit where it hurts the most.

trying to conquer my fears of being an introvert...after live streaming for a while one finally popped tonight..i met so many amazing people.... came here to hear all might say " you can be a hero too"... that hits me in a different way...God bless.

I like to think that Izuku is telling his own disciple how he became the greatest hero, hence the narration.

The fact that is Toshinori (who is the real person and hero) who tells Midoriya he is worthy instead of All might (who is just a mask) makes this scene even more powerful .
