Narcs say what u want to hear and early on are more likely to say they had a bad day. After u know then for a bit, that is when they get defensive IMO

Acording to this, everyone on the internet is a narcissist.

I would try to tell him how he made me feel and he would just stare blankly at me with no response. Like he didn’t know how to respond to feelings. It was crazy.

When criticised, I get defensive and self-justifying over and over, and then can concede, but it feels so hard. I don’t attack in return. I do empathise. I think it’s not narcissism but because I have had so much blow back for not being what people want me to be in life, such consequences, that I now can’t tolerate any imperfection in myself because of the blowback from imperfections

Narcissists can be incredibly destructive people to have in your lives. Working out how to spot and identify them should be the first thing to do in any dating situation. I am referring to the actual personality disorder, not the general attitude that millennials have from growing up without boundaries or hardships.

Tbf, you don't really want to engage someone who you believe is a narcissist. If you really have to- limit your social conversations to minimal and emotionally detach yourself from the person. Better to be safe than sorry. Just remember time will tell.
