COUNTRY #19 was JAPAN π―π΅ (!!!!!), and we had the ultimate pleasure of tasting some of the most delicious foods weβve ever put in our mouths! π£ Seriously, everything was out of the ballpark, and it was surprisingly affordable compared to the cost of quality Japanese food in the States.π This food tour was just the start to our Japan series, so stay tuned for lots more in this exquisite country. π₯’ Next weekβs video will take place in KYOTOβ see you then!!! π π€« OUR ULTIMATE JAPANESE FOOD GUIDE: chadandclaire.com/shop/p/japan-food-guide

@18:41 A slight correction. The Japanese rice balls are called onigiri (γγ«γγ), which is four syllables in Japanese, not ongiri (γγγγ), three syllables. They are also sometimes called Omusubi (γγγγ³). I hope that helps. I wouldn't want someone to watch the video, accidentally mispronounce it, and not get what they wanted.

Thanks for introducing our food to people around the world! Itβs so interesting to me to see how Japanese food look and taste to you. I love Taiyaki too but never dreamt of having them for yearsπ I like the red bean paste one the best, which is the most traditional and standard one.

I've been living in Japan for the last 30 years. These are the kinds of food we eat at home every day. It is funny. After living here so long, the food becomes common place. It often takes a video like yours and your enthusiasm to remind me how good the food really is here. Thanks.
