I owe this lady an apology. I'm a 63 year old man who's always dismissed her as bubblegum pop or cutesy country. This album hit me like Salieri hearing Mozart for the first time. Her lyrics are more cinematic than Springsteen in '75 and her music is as clever as it is beautiful. I'm sorry, MS Swift. You've evolved into something without equal. When I can manage to stop playing this on repeat I'll be exploring your whole catalog, working my way backwards through what lead up to this moment of inspired creation.

I feel like there is so much trauma and shock that we have lived through with her, and just so many shocks with the new album. When you take a step back, take a day off, and come back - it’s absolutely stunning. Beyond words. Taylor has nothing to prove to anyone anymore but I am so glad that she chose to share this with us.
