A water curtailment order was issued for six groundwater districts in the Eastern Snake River Plain, putting 500,000 acres at risk of water shut-offs.

It’s a a little suspicious they come out with this curtailment right after farmers get there crops in, so now they can’t change course or water them. And Idahoans are saying the water level is high.

For conservation ground water users need to set timing to only water after sundown. Over half of the water is lost to evaporation.
