U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham has compared Israel’s war against Hamas to the U.S. decision to drop atomic bombs on Japan in World War II. Graham argued that Hamas is to blame for the bulk of civilian casualties, and urged Israel to continue fighting until a decisive victory is achieved, no matter the cost. The senator also lashed out at U.S. President Joe Biden for his decision to pause weapon shipment to Israel. This as the Israeli military is facing increased international scrutiny as its military operation in Gaza enters its eighth month.
