I realized why this song hit me so hard, it reminds me of all of the difficulties and the times I felt trapped during COVID in Canada while being unvaxxed. I was fired from my job, banned from social meida, and banned from the gym and the pubs, basically all public spaces for 8+ months. Things were SO rough, I had to lie to myself to many times to say it's alright, I did see it coming at me, and in 2023 I wake up each and EVERY single day thankful that my entire family and I made it through the other side unvaxxed, but the entire time I felt like we were being chased by some demonic force. Crazy good song Chewiecatt, you and TryHardNinja and The Stupendium should have won some awards by now, your songs and videos are better than the stuff I hear on the radio and see in the mainstream. Amazing work, I don't expect you to have read this novel. :)

I did not guess this would be a horror song, but I was pleasantly surprised 🔥

I must say… of all the horror songs, this really stands out! It’s relaxing, almost celebratory in tone from the monsters’ perspective, while having an undertone of dread, very well done and the use of footage (with certain lyrics) are time rather well and adds to the aforementioned tones I mentioned.
