My Mom said it was common back then to not only eat chicken feet but most parts because most had large families and they needed to feed the whole family on a small budget.

I really really appreciate that you talk about the nutrients and health benefits of a lot of the foods you used in this video. I also love that you encourage growing your own stuff, using things that would otherwise be wasted, and how you integrate your instant pot in your videos! I think you are the most well-rounded cooking channel I watch!

I’m here taking notes Sis 😋😋

Honestly, making bone broth always seemed intimidating and super long process for me but you made it seem so easy and simple. I definitely want to try your recipe. It all looked so good! I never liked eating chicken feet even with my African side of the family. So glad you boldly included it here in the recipe. Thanks for sharing. Also, not your husband going after the corn!! Lol I thought of the "I love corn" "Corn-tastic day" kid. Something about it! ahaha

Growing up in Trinidad my mother made soup with chicken feet or fish every Saturday. She would put a lot of other vegetables like dasheen, yam & cassavia. The only pack soup sold was Maggie chicken noodle. We loved it and look forward to Saturdays.

I’m 🇯🇲this is one of our staple soups. Chicken foot soup Except we make it differently. I actually made some on Friday lol and I finished it faster than expected. So I’ll be making more again during the week 😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤✨✨✨💋💋💋 I’m so happy that most people don’t like it. I get to reap more of the benefits from it 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤ Your soup looks nice.

People in many countries outside the U.S eat chicken feet. In this recipe the chicken feet are not eaten, it is being used for his nutritional value. I do use chicken bones to make my broth for my chicken soup, now thanks to this video. I will incorporate chicken feet.

This recipe is almost exactly the same as my Trinidadian mother-in-law, corn, soup, and chicken soup especially, the Japanese sweet potato 🍠
