I don’t think Cody vs Logan was ever gonna be title for title in the first place. I think they wanted people to think it would be so they can do the swerve with Logan and his lawyer for heel heat. “Champion vs Champion” traditionally, and I may be wrong, does not mean title for title. They used the term “Champion vs Champion” during the brand warfare days of Survivor Series. When it’s title for title, they would dub it “Winner Takes All” usually.

Yeah, they created a cliffhanger by having Cody imply it would be title for title...so that Logan could then show up and deny it because he's a heel. Wouldn't be the first time they've announced matches or stipulations that with the intention of changing it later.

Even if they said title for title, the story is Logan swerved him. It's not that serious. Whether it's lame or not, it's the story. Cody being under the assumption was part of the story. I wasn't expecting Cody to win both belts anyway.
