I made my daughter's veil. I hand sewed the lace along the edge. Took me 2 days and my entire kitchen island to lay it out flat and shape the lace to the tulle. We ordered out for dinner the one night so that no one would disturb my project. LOL.

Dear Ms. Downtown- I want to thank you for this great tutorial. You cannot know how much it helped me to make my daughter's wedding veil. I haven't made a gown in years, and this really refreshed my memory. Improved my sewing skills. The finishing just made the veil look so lovely. Now on to applying horsehair, lace, and beading. I pray I get it right. So thankful for people who share their talents. Blessings.
