On the China-Vietnam border, Dawei Mountain National Forest Park in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan, has a forest coverage rate of more than 85%. It is located south of the Tropic of Cancer and is known as the "Green Pearl on the Tropic of Cancer". It has the reputation of "Animal and Plant Gene Bank" and "Natural Oxygen Bar".
There are 6,080 species of plants, 74 national key protected plants, and 1,341 animals. Among them, Cycads, Alsophila multicephala, Chinese Slow Monkey, and Chinese Red-faced Monkey are called the four wonders of Pingbian.
