When it comes to rogues' galleries, you’d be hard pressed to find one with more memorable and complex villains than Batman’s. From jacked masterminds to a tortured soul weaponizing fear to a man really into condiments, he’s got it all. And since Batman is such a popular character, we’ve been blessed with seeing so many of his villains brought into live action, for better or for worse… but let’s not focus on the past, today we’re here to talk about the future and who I think should take center stage in The Batman: Part II

Agreed. ANYONE but the Joker. Give Joker about 5-10 years off. I vote Deathstroke.
  • @REaDComicsau
My top choice is Mr Freeze, he needs to be redeemed. The Court of Owls should be in the third one. But no matter what, Joker should be kept as a side villain.

I think with the city flooded we should get killer croc and it should be filmed more as a horror movie than a Batman movie. It starts off with Bruce helping people around the city and hearing rumors of a big monster living in the sewers and taking kids. So Batman starts an investigation and maybe sees some signs of gets into an altercation and gets his ass kicked leading for a bigger fight later.
  • Penguin blackmailing Freeze for a possible cure for Nora can be a cliche but easy setup to introduce him to the viewer and Batman in the sequel. I would also nominate Deathstroke, Slade Wilson as a foil to our Batman. Keep him on his toes.

We need a live action Heart of Ice. Don't give us a Grounded Mr. Freeze that's terrible. Not every villain needs to be grounded and realistic.

I personally want clayface, they don’t have to make him a giant clay guy, they could just make him physically deformed with some kind of skin condition with self image issues
  • @Tabaxi89
I feel like Scarface and The Ventriliquist would be a cool and realistic villain for the sequel.

I like to see Scarecrow or Mr. Freeze or maybe some other villain that never got to shine yet.
  • I personally think it should be Batmans greatest adversary: The Electrocutioner
  • @deathtrap2672
I wish the sequel would focus on Scarecrow & his sadistic obsession with causing people nightmares using the fear toxin .

There's a lot of villains I'd love to see. I think Reeve's Batman would stay away from the hugely fantastical. I think Hugo Strange would work. I also think a version of Poison Ivy would really work well and be interesting.

Another one I'd really love to see are the Court of Owls. Could really be an awesome addition to this universe with a cult orchestrating everything happening in Gotham for hundreds of years and Batman getting too close to discovering them, hence, send in the Talons!

I would like to see Mad Hatter as the main villian and as you said about Penguin becoming the top dog, a perfect rival to him would be Black Mask. So Batman has to juggle Roman and Oswalds rivalry while dealing with Jervis and maybe Twiddledee and Twiddledum as Mad Hatters minions or something. Hell, throw in Victor Zsasz to be a pain in the ass the entire time. Also if they decide to bring back Riddler, I think a perfect partner for him would be Anarky.
  • @thejohnvalverde
Scarecrow would be fire 🔥, or Killer Croc since Gotham is underwater, but I agree that a Mr. Freeze movie would be really cool. Great video bro!

In my opinion Wrath should be the main villain in The Batman 2. He can challenge Batman’s physicality and wits. It would also provide more depth to Commissioner Gordon. In the comics Wrath was the opposite of Batman having parents who were both robbers and who were both killed by Commissioner Gordon when he was a younger because he gunned them down when they were escaping their home and mistook them for robbers. Wrath then became a gun for hire whose skills rival Batman’s. Exploring his story would make for a great movie and would work in the universe Matt Reeves has created.
  • Dude. The way you described the 'Hush' villain/ storyline - I really hope it's that one for the sequel.
  • @jaylanthompson
I think Clayface + Mr Freeze would be dope. Matt already showed he’s not afraid to have multiple villains in the first one, so why not go further and add more? I think they should save Hush for the third after he’s already established his Bruce persona
  • Am i the only one who thinks professor pyg would be perfect in this universe?
