  • For me, it's "The song" of all songs!! Rolling Stones forever ! I listened to this as my momma played it on her stereo while growing up , and then as a teenager the fist time my heart broke, and again many , many times over the years.. tonight at the age of 54, I turn to it once again...Angie. Thank you Stones!!!
  • My dad named me after this song. Everything in the song is about us our relationship. We both struggle with addiction he died way before his time, I felt loved and that’s the truth
  • This is the best Rolling Stones' song in my opinion, along with Wild Horses 💙✌
  • I named my oldest daughter after this song. 15yrs old just having a baby I was so lost. She is now 46yrs old

When i sing this song to my younger female friends they tell me the lyrics are so sweet. Thank you Mick for such a wonderful slow song that show the more tender side of the Stones

I heard this song so many times on the radio as a tiny kid and when I hit middle school and was thrilled to able to listen to it to my heart's content after borrowing the album from a family member.

The Stones weren't just a band who wrote awesome guitar riffs. They had complexity and could produce beautiful ballads like 'Angie' that rival even some of The Beatles' greatest efforts.

My uncle who passed away when I was 6 bought my mum the LP of the Rolling stones at the time when I was born and he choose the name for me just before he passed at the hands of suicide. It means so much to me it is beautiful in every way ❤️ thank you Uncle Pat.

This song takes me back to my old bedroom, with my lava lamps and 3 CD emerson radio... sitting on my bed playing this on repeat, crying. Wow.
  • I don't have an Angie in my life, but I'm playing the song for my son. Because he loves it, and he also stole my double album stones 63 through 74. The little shitbird! But he gave it back to me, when you gave me another vinyl player. Now, I'm going to load up with every freaking album I ever had! Going back 40 years, or more. Jeez, I'm talkin about old Motown, rock and roll, blues, the English invasion, and all the rest!
