I really feel he didn't just make this album for us he did it for himself and that's what makes it truly art. He has nothing to prove to anyone but himself and I hope this whole album did that for him.

This song sounds like every sad emotion I've ever felt. It touches me in a place I've buried deep within myself, somewhere i knew existed but never knew how exactly to get to. It's summer nights driving home with the windows down. It's the sound of my memories.

He is sharing some real honesty with us. That’s what makes him such a beautiful person and artist. This is unbelievable that we are actually listening to every tear that he has ever dropped, in one entire album.

Lil Nas, I don’t even know where to begin. This whole album is truly a gem, an absolute timeless gift for the world. I can’t even imagine how many lives this work of art is going to save. That there must be the best part, just knowing how many hearts you touched, how many memories people created with this album as the soundtrack. I don’t think he realizes how much we all needed this album, it’s so good and I think it represents him and his versatility so much. I adore this song.

I've recently gone through traumatizing events since September, I graduated college (cum-laude), got my first apartment and car all within 2 months period, and met the love of my life I was on cloud 9 with life and achievements.... but they're people in this world rather see you down and miserable than happy and successful (jealousy)... I Lost family members and had to carry my grandfather to his final resting place. Thought I'll be okay, I'd lost my cousin to his second motorcycle accident this year, and lastly, the person I wanted to build a life with felt we should take a break...... I was shattered and nearly on the verge of giving up on living. Then I was listening to Lil Nas X's album, At first Lost in the Citadel song had me releasing my tears of anger, sorrow, regret, and loneliness, but then I heard VOID..... I wake up every day and ask god and myself, Why is my heart bigger than the universe, but easily broken like wet paper? Is this song telling my pain and, who is it directed to? Is this a farewell or a suicide note? . Being the black sheep makes you realize, In 13 reasons why, Hanner Baker was asking and trying to seek help from friends and family but in the end, it wasn't enough. Everyone, take care of yourself and please check on your mental health. Lastly, If no one ever told you "I love you " well I do and I wish and pray your blessing and dreams come true. 👋😢

This is a love letter to himself and his past self and we all get to experience it. Fucking amazing

His creative expression is very different and I like that about him. He makes very meaningful songs that no everyone gets at first but if you listen you’ll understand his message and why he chooses the visuals he does. Truly an amazing artist.
