Playing For Change is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. Our primary focus is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos we call Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated us to form the Playing For Change Band—a tangible, traveling representation of our mission, featuring musicians met along our journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation—a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, we aim to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

Just saw this. I'm a 57 self made guy with a wonderful family, and sick of what this world has become. I see this video, am filled with hope, and yeah, crying like a baby.
  • This is the version of Love Train that we didn't even know we needed. It takes an already brilliant song and makes it even more joyous. If you can watch this video and not feel just a bit better about life and humanity, than you are a rare person indeed. Brilliant to focus it on children.

February 2023 -- and the World needs this song -- and the Positive Energy from it more than ever!! I wish we could send this to "All the people in Russia and China" (because I don't believe the people in those countries want this ugly war of death and destruction that their leadership is causing) To me, this song in the original and every version represents the Goodness of Americans!!! Who came from all over the world, many without their consent and They embrace the American Dream to make the world a better place! Thanks so much to Keb Mo', such a humble soul, and all the others who participated in this version!

I am voting today for the future of our children. It is our duty and responsibility to make certain we leave them a planet and a society in which they can thrive and live peacefully. That should be our purpose and legacy.
  • This was probably the happiest Playing for Change song I've ever seen. Those kids look like they were having a blast. I'm disabled and I felt like getting up and dancing. Great arrangement!! 🎼🎷🪕🎻 🥁🎹🎙️🎶

one of the highlights was seeing the two remaining singers from the O'Jays, who sang the original song, singin it again and still having those soulful voices. and of course seeing yo yo ma-one of the classiest people on the planet.
