UPGRADE your Gardevoir ex League Battle Deck! - (Pokemon TCG Deck List + Matches)

I goofed on the math for Drifloon. Before damage modifiers, its damage output caps out at 180 damage. Certainly better and it will get you some one-hit KOs on low HP multi-prizers like Lumineon and Squawkabilly, but definitely gonna need an HO modifier for most muti-prizers.

Just stared playing with my son about a month ago with the battle academy I got him for christmas. I just picked up this deck today and will be looking for the League Battle Miraidon ex deck for him as that seems to be what he likes. I wish a Pikachu deck was viable. From my experience, this deck can put up a decent fight with everything in the format. Lugia seems to be the best one since it's relatively easy to keep up. Charizard and Chien Pao can be 50/50. Really depends on how fast Pidgeot or Baxcalibur comes out. Watch out for Turbo Iron Hands and Lost Zone. Both can easily wipe your board with Iron Hands or Cramorant, and Giratina could drop a surprise Star Requiem.

Just a short note that Drifloon caps out at 180, not 150. It has 70 HP so can have 60 damage which makes 180.

I just picked up the Gardevoir EX league deck from gamestop and luckily i had a bunch of bulk I recently got for super cheap and I found quite a few good staple cards in there to add to the deck. Only problem I have is having not a lot of basic pokemon to pick from. No jirachi, or manaphy at the moment. I went with putting a 3rd copy of drifloon in my deck. Definitely the first 2 upgrades I will be adding is a jirachi and manaphy at least. That tm card and cape will probably be added as well. Really with those 4 cards and maybe another big like Gallade with Buddy catch (although I have a lot of ways to search supporter cards) makes this deck a lot better. I personally have been enjoying professors research. I find it to be a good way to thin the deck since you can just use a bunch of your cards and then pitch like 2-3 cards and get 7 back. Also a great way to find your energy too. Its bad with a bunch of 1 ofs, but I find powering out your gardevoir turn 2 using a rare candy, to be able to boost a drifloon early can be crucial. Especially with buddy catch being able to search research for you each turn. Only reason I like it over Iono is because you could potentially fix your opponents hand as well, where research does neg you at least a few cards but helps you only.

I love the deck and bought it on launch. The list is great but i think ill cut the earthern vessels a tm evo a arven or two and lux cape for at least 2 damage pump some more energy and more bravery charms cause with this you can still hit OHKO's without giving up 2 prizes but i could be wrong. I'll also try to fit an extra turo or some switch for snorlax

Recently I've been playing a gallade in tandem with some diverse supporters. Once you have a gallde in play and after using a palpad, it honestly feels like you have your entire deck at your disposal. Especially if you play cyphermaniac taking advantage of your many draw 2 abilities. Just remember, there's nothing worse than drawing though all your one off supporters on turn one when you only needed them for the late game (which I only play about 3 to 4 of). For sone reason my most recent games with this deck has been like that lol.

Worth a spot for an ancient energy capsule for the scream tail? Could allow for 3 more damage counters vs. 2 from a bravery charm.

So overall, do you recommend this deck? I'm thinking of branching out of Meowscarada now and getting closer to meta. The Dragapult deck is something I'm looking forward to as I think it'll suit my play style but I have a feeling some of it might be hard to get when it gets popular. Also my skill level is still in progress 😀 so I'm looking for something competent but also manageable.

At 12:37 you're talking about Damage Pump - does it really allow me to raise up the damage cap so a Drifloon with Bravery Charm can one-shot a Charizard? Does it not just move 2 damage counters without changing the cap, potentially knocking out the Drifloon?

20:50 i think using Hero's cape to 1HitKO was definitely better... Use the town store to grab the Hero's cape... Just bench Dri and switch it active... Throw a million energy at him and take the 2 prizes for 1
