Russian President Vladimir Putin lays flowers at the Soviet martyrs monument in the northeastern city of Harbin -- built to commemorate the Soviet Red Army soldiers who died during World War II. Putin is on the final day of a visit aiming to promote crucial trade with China and win greater support for his war effort in Ukraine.

    These are the ethnic Russian refugees that reside in Harbin China, during the Japanese invasion to China, these people can easily flee back to Russia, but they chose to fight alongside the Chinese, many of them were captured by Japanese Unit 731 and experimented on.

    There are about 30 million Chinese people DD during 14 years of Japanese occupation, which ended by the Red Army on the 3d May 1945. Chinese will never forget who saved them! They treasure their History!
