Boss fight against Shelob the spider in the gameboy advance (GBA) Return of the king LOTR game. Shelob may seem like a tough boss first time round, but there is a way to beat her without barely being harmed and can be beaten at level 7-8 Sam with a fairly decent (usually a level 8 hatchet) weapon. Boss strategy: Position yourself right at the far bottom right corner of the battle arena (near the rocky area) right down at the bottom right, it can be a little tricky to find and Shelob won't be able to hit you. Whack away at the sides of her, even use the cookpot bash skill for extra (although minor) damage. Shelobs attacks consist of a web (which slows you down but does nothing else) a poison melee attack) and swipes with her front legs for high damage. Enjoy Shelob has about 900 hp.

    Shelob scared me as a 10 year old kid lol. this game had impressive graphics for a gba game in 2003 and i have arachnophobia. Shelob was one realistic looking spider sprite for a black widow. My endless love for this game made me play every campaign around a dozen times and i eventually did some "mythbuster experiments". Shelob does actually "chase" you around in her Liar after you get the cutscene of her standing at the end of the cave. If you use "the one ring" skill by Frodo she can she she runs in and out of the map. She can even kill you instantly if you manage to collide with her in the cave but this is almost impossible to happen because you need to be running at 2.0 x normal speed like Eowyn's skill.
