  • "The night Ben died...I hunted down the man who I thought did it. I wanted him dead. I got what I wanted. It didn't make it better. It took me a long time to...learn to get through that darkness."

The running in the alley scene always gives me goosebumps.
  • @EthanRom
Man I don't care what people say, Tobey acted the shit out of this role
  • This is the first time he swings. His moves are clumsy and awkward. And look at how masterfully and flawlessly he swings at the end of the film. He's matured a lot throughout the film
  • @Cassman2k
Toby was Definitely the definition of “childhood Spider-Man”
  • @leonidusroberts
tom felt this same rage, luckily tobey was there to help him out
  • @remuvs
They honestly nailed the feeling of the first swing. You feel the anxiety and lack of confidence in Peter's movements yet it's such an exhilarating experience.
  • I hate when ppl says he’s a bad actor I watch this and I feel the emotions of his character
  • @jonathan6740
My god this scene is phenomenal. The angles, the grunts, the movement EVERYTHING. You can really sense Peter's rage.

i cant fucking believe i got to see this man in theatres as spider man once again. so fucking cool
  • @VladG17
That scene in No Way Home was incredible. Tobey knew it wouldn't make him feel better, he experienced it first...
  • @jareddiiorio499
When I was little I thought the swinging sequences were real cuz I didn’t even know what CGI was 😂
  • At 3:50, Peter remembers the scene differently. In the actual scene, thief was just a bumbling guy awkwardly pressing the elevator buttons, but Peter remembers him as a calm, calculated man giving him a cold look. Just goes to show how our perception changes our memory.

Perfectly sums up the essence of the character. He’s initially filled with rage but realises it was his fault. He realised he can’t just hunt down criminals but instead protect the innocent.
  • There’s so many ways he could have turned into a villain from this scene
  • @Kuzamer
The way he just violently beats this dude down... It's exactly how I imagine an early Spidey would fight the killer. Sam knew what he was doing directing this.
  • @accepthisname
Uncle Ben would be proud of the man Peter has become. He's so zen in NWH.

I love this part 0:15 ! the music, the scene, putting his mask, then showing the symbol then the way he climbs the wall, and Peter's goal, it was just the start of a great hero. It gives me goosebumps!
