OKAY BUT HAVE YOU EVER READ THE LEAP OF FAITH SCENE FROM THE SCRIPT. it literally says something about the camera flips to frame miles above the city and that "Miles isnt falling through the frame. He's rising." and like MAN. that line just makes that whole scene hit different.
