Cole Brauer is the most inspiring person I've ever witnessed. Been following her closely since she came across my Instagram feed while rounding Cape Horn. In all the news coverage of Cole, Emilie Ikeda has given Cole the best opportunities to speak to her passions. Brava to both of these people who are pioneering how we see the future.

This will give you a better idea of what this amazing woman accomplished. As my friend Kimo Lyman said: Sheโ€™s one rugged wahine!
  • Good for her. It is a good performance and she attracts sympathy despite her funny hands movement. Imagine now if she would win something of substance (which happens to be French-centric). This would be amazing for her and for the sport!

Arent we reaching a little here? Like how far do we go? Is it still a record if its the first female from Florida? Then what next first female from Miami? Who cares? Men did this in the 17-1800s.
