  • Copland wrote the film score to OF MICE AND MEN . I'm actually intrigued that he never did a project in direct collaboration with Steinbeck. This is amazing! I always wondered if he was brought before the McCarthy committee. Ironic in that this was the polar opposite of what happened to Shostakovich in the Soviet Union!
