The Kruse Auto Auction in Las Vegas is just four weeks away. Barry needs to be there with a stunning creation to catch a cashed-up buyer with the big bucks.
Barry wants to build a 'super muscle' car, a vehicle that looks like the 1960s but drives like 2005. He needs an old wreck, not too far gone, which he and his team can transform into a showroom masterpiece.
After trawling the junkyards he's found nothing appropriate and has run out of time. There is one wreck he could use. But it belongs to his daughter Jen. Could he just take it? You bet.
Jen's reaction is no surprise. The teenager storms off on hearing the news and the Speed Shop emergency turns into a family feud. Will Jen come around and help work on her car, only to hand it over to some rich buyer in Vegas? Will she ever talk to her father again?
Can Barry's team, a collection of characters and experts, turn a clapped-out Chevy Chevelle into a show-stopping muscle car in just four weeks? How much will it cost Barry? Could he ever get his money back?
It will take more than good luck to pull it off. And even if they get the car built on time, when they turn up at the auction, their fate lies in the hands of fickle buyers.
Barry's money, his reputation, and his family relations are on the line.

"But Daaaaad it's my car"! *goes off to ride pony...and eat a cheeseburger.

for your hard job you and your team deserve more well done Barry

The car looks great and made a profit which helped the family business. In addition, he repaired the hurt that his daughter encountered. Regardless if her new car sets for years, it's a connection that she has with her dad and some day the new car will get finished for her to enjoy. I Enjoyed the show !

for $60,000 the guy could have bought a real numbers matching SS
-
That old man must have money. 😂 he’s tried to buy all his cars.

Its like watching Peter Griffin and Meg ..."shut up Meg"
-
Instead of buying her a new car he should have bought her some clothes that fit lol
-
I've been watching all of Barry's videos and I like the outwardly original look with new tech on the inside on the interior.

she's an adult she should understand that this is a business you cant leave a car sitting for over a year and not do anything with it, then get upset, plus he own the title to the car. I understand thats his daughter but she better get over that shit.

if my dad took my car like that he best be ready to throw hands

My first car I bought myself when I turned 16 was a 69 Chevelle SS L-78 396 4 spd and it was orange with black stripes and a black landow top

This Ardell guy knows what he wants and where the quality is. He just goes where these guys show up, and gets whatever they have built. He gets these iconic muscle cars, now modernised and made to perfection. This cars can now sit in his garage for 30 years and increase their value tenfold...

This is the third or fourth one of these videos from this guy that I've watched, and in each of them he's had just "four weeks" to get it built. WHY????? That reason is never stated. It's just an attempt to create suspense. Auctions come along all the time. There's no reason to do a rush job. Take your time, do it right, then wait for the next auction to come around to sell. No stress.

lose the drama, keep your viewers. The kind of folks who like to watch old cars being rebuilt are not part of the lowest common denominator... they are not drama needy voyeurs.
-
Am I the only one that saw the ignition switch was installed where the lighter goes in a 69? The 1968 Chevelle was the last year to have a dash mounted switch @ 33:22

Dad's always come clutch in the end..awesome video great car 💪

Amazing build!
-
Her dad probably bought her that Chevelle. My dad when I asked for a 75 Chevy Nova laughed and said it would be to much horsepower and I'd wreck it... Only classic I will ever get is the one I buy and build myself haha

Anyone else watch this then immediately think "They do it better on Roadkill"?

The prices they keep quoting for paint on this show is off the wall! No way There's $4000 in paint on that car. And the fake drama: "I can't get paint delivered on time!" Geeez! I can drive 30 minutes to the nearest big city and pick up any color I want today!
