Exploring abandoned places is my hobby and finance it all out of my own pocket and the donations I get from the people who love watching the documentaries we make... A small donation would be greatly appreciated! ► www.patreon.com/brosofdecay

This documentary will be unlike anything you have seen before, today we will dive deep into 2 mysterious lives that are contemplated far away from civilization in the dark forests of Switzerland.

Both places have been left behind and lost for multiple decades, they are surrounded by mystery and nobody really knows the real story behind them. Many roomers are spread around town, from mysterious observations to the owners being serial killers, but most likely none of them are true…

The only thing we can say for sure is that the former owners had a heart for nature and didn’t want to live close to civilization.

We will take you today on an exhilarating tour through Switzerland and will take you on a tour of these 2 Wonderfull abandoned time capsules, get ready for an adventure of a lifetime…

Little update about Maureno from Explomo > Maureno is doing well, I had a call with him yesterday for 2 hours and we talked about all the things that happend. I want to clear up a few things going further. Maureno could not do anything about the legal troubles he is finding himself in, it also had nothing to do with exploring. It was. just a very unfortunate chain of events that happend... Maureno is going to update you all fairly soon with more information about the situation, we hopefully can get him back home as soon as next week. Let's all pray together that he will get home safely and he can return to his friends and family without trouble 🙏🙏

Being an older lady with bad health, I truly live vicariously through you. I get to see amazing places all around the world! I really love when your doing the places wearing the period outfits! Sooo handsome; and you always treat everyplace you go with respect no matter what shape (good or bad) they are in. Thank you, and stay safe!

The second house, while sooo much more decayed, was a true home, with kitchen, bedrooms, 1/2 bathroom! Sad that he was so very remote in his final years after the passing of his wife! 😢😞😰 Sad to see the decay & total ruin of their wonderful, Swiss life!😢😞😰 Thank you Leslie for sharing this wonderful adventure with us!!! I loved it ❤️
  • @RamontHart
Beautiful place! The pictures on the ceiling are definetly composers. There is Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Beethoven etc etc. I wonder why someone would have them in a room that is seemingly a dining room

I've seen Happy Paradise with someone else - can't remember who but absolutely love it. What a tragedy if this delightful little cottage is allowed to deteriorate further. Like one or two other subscribers have said please give us an update on Maureno's situation. Thanks Gill 🇬🇧
  • Please Lesley be very careful, it's so sad to see these places just left to Mother nature. Thanks for bringing us along. Loved it.

So glad to hear Maureno is doing ok and will probably be home soon. You guys are the nicest, most respectful young gentlemen. I love your videos, they are fascinating. You are very lucky to explore these places. It's quite an education and we are lucky to go back in time along with you. Thank you for all you do and share. The best of luck to you both.

I absolutely loved the landscape and the second house you explored! All those clocks, the puppets and the paintings of famous musicians/ composers made the living room look strange but special! Thank you for another great episode!

The happy house was amazing. So cute and so remote. That’s like the kind of place I dream of living someday. In the middle of nation. I just away all of the craziness in the world. So sad that it is deteriorating, but I’m glad you caught it on video to at least preserve it that way.
  • Hello Lesley! Very sorry 😞 I can not see the premier because I with my daughter Natalia shopping somethings she is need in her apartment after her Graduation she will continuing living in San Diego doing internship in the University ( one month)and part time job for one company (Greatecology) . The panoramic is amazing , really crazy swimming in the cool water. I was remembering Maureno show the place. It is nice the house still stay equal. Thank you for your exploration! Always I am enjoying your point of view 😉 😊 ☺ 😎 😀 👍🤗. I am happy Maureno soon will go home 😉👍.
  • Oh my gosh!....jumping into those cold water....you both are very brave to do that. Thank you for sharing your amazing tours on this channel. I totally love each episode. You are an excellent tour guide. Explaining everything in such a great way, and going through these places with the greatest respect. It's very sad to see these beautiful dwellings go to ruins. I wish the governments would step in and save at least what they can for charity...but sadly it doesn't happen. Take care. Lekker daggie verder. Groete van Suid Afrika.

I am 67 and I am living through your adventures. Switzerland is beautiful ❤. Thank you 😊

I too have seen Happy Paradise before, and it was apparently abandoned due to a landslide which made access difficult

Glad things are looking up :) What a beautiful countryside. Walrusing in Crystal clear water . Home and hearth, that cute little fireplace in the kitchen. The home had a lot of touches that showed it was loved. The second home, I love gnomes and the wildwood seems to match them. The crystal chandelier, someone really loved this home. The families portraits were very unique and sweet. All of the ivy seems to have encased the house along with all of their memories. Thank you for sharing with us once again.

The second house was amazing. It made me want to hug it, and pat it on the shoulder, and put it all back together again. Thank you.
  • Hi! First I want to thank you for these amazing videos. I haven't got too many chances to explore places like these myself, so I really enjoy watching your videos. The second house was absolutely amazing. And the pictures of the famous composers (correct me if I'm wrong) - starting from the right side, 1st Ludwig van Beethoven, 3rd Giuseppe Verdi, 4th Piotr Tchaikovsky, 5thVolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 6th Frederic Chopin. Don't remember the 2nd though. Love your detailed descriptions and how careful you are with things. Keep doing this, even my kids enjoy your videos! Best of luck from Latvia!

Heyy dear Lesley, Woow I am so happy that you are able to upload a new video this evening, despite of the problem with Maureno! Such an amazing and wonderful location you found also in Switzerland!! - This is a very beautiful looking living/ dining room with these medaillons high up on the wall. The chandelier provides this room with a certain elegance and splendor. Three beautiful old clocks are on the wall at the right hand side visible. This photo picture, which is showing the former American president Abraham Lincoln, leads me to the conclusion, that the former owner of this location might have had a certain connection to the USA. Also the chapel on the left half of the picture is so charming and has somehow an enchanted vibe, as I think. And we have with this location also a connection to Maureno of Explomo! How cool is that! He was exploring at the same location on Monday 28th September 2020. After that explore he visited me the same day and stayed to the next day, - and he told us full of enthusiasm about that location, which is like a "happy paradise". Therefore I am very excited, dear Lesley, what you are going to show us from this place. - Stay safe, bro, peace and many hugs. - Blessings and kindest regards.
