Fishing Hartwell and Thoughts of Quitting YouTube

Hey brother found your channel recently and been checking out the videos. It's channels like yours and others that are real that I love. When you said it was your last video it about pulled a tear out of my eye. And the old Bushwacker don't usually give up any. It's because I totally get it and relate. But I do it to for more than anything is connecting with others like us. I fish very close to that spot a lot and hope to run into sometime. I was glad when you said people like JJ was what made you say no I will keep doing. God bless you man and as I seen keep on keeping on.

Keep at it Travis! I think we all go through the "is it worth it" times. I know I do. But ultimately, I enjoy making these videos even if only a few people watch them. I do it so I can look back and remember the trips. My very first video I ever posted was a camping trip with my dad, it's not a great video but now that my dad has passed away, I'm thankful I have that video to go back and reflect on the great time I had with him on that trip. Keep grinding man! I enjoy the videos.

Well it would be very sad if you quit. I would recommend taking breaks tho. You will keep growing and hit 5k subs. Never give up because this video could get more views later. You have so many supporters you have 45 comments. A few months ago I had 20 subscribers and now i have 466. Keep it up 👍

Well, for what my opinion is worth: I found your channel while looking for new areas to fish with my new kayak a couple years ago. Now, checking out boat landings might be pretty boring for the average person, but for me getting into kayaking locally it was very helpful. I enjoy average/everyday guy fishing channels, not the people acting the fool and crowing about their big bass. I also love multi species fishing, but that might not be your thing. Useful information (I like it when you put the lure being used on each catch on the screen) and great looking video never fails. Keep it up

Well, I would like to tell you I wanna see you keep on pushing you give me a lot of confidence I grew up on Hartwell Lake, and there’s still some things that living here for 37 years that I learned from you about different areas of the lake or just new ideas. Helping kayak fisherman in this area with scouting boat, ramps and all the work you put in is highly appreciated and I’m glad to see that you’re going to stay. I 100% get it, it’s definitely stressful and times especially with added stress of your everyday life. I happy you decided to keep going cause the last thing you want later on is that thought of “ What if I would have kept posting” I missed out on a ton of things because of quitting prematurely.

Hey buddy how's are you feeling man? I hope you are ok man. You did the right thing by getting off the water if you're not feeling well man after what happened. I am sorry that this happened to you. Look like you had a lil Bit of a small concussion from the way you was talking. But that was awesome you & your buddy went fishing together. Travis buddy don't give up man. You put a lot into this to come this far to give up man. Who cares about what other people think you are doing well brother & you have came a long way brother & you got people like JJ & Andy & me & some other people who love to watch your channel man. If you love fishing show what you love to do man that what Count. You have a day time job so this is for fun man. Do not take this to seriously. You know Brother someone once told me that people who actually watch your channel on a regular basis don’t really care what type of content your putting out, rather you catch a fish or not, rather you shoot a big buck or a doe, or in my case just don’t have any luck at all lol... Those people are the people you want to be around and have around because they are there to see (YOU) Man I’m gonna be honest with you I don’t care rather you had a great day on the water or not in your videos and I always hope you do win that tournament or catch that PB because I enjoy the content you put out regardless. It’s the passion and hard work you put into it and the willingness to help others along the way that I enjoy the most. Also the drive you have to become better and knowing you share what you learn along the way. Honestly I’m guilty of letting my numbers get to me then I take a step back and look at the fact that I’ve made some awesome friends through this platform and I have a ton of memories, no numbers could ever replace that! Keep your head up Travis and just remember every day is a new beginning and who knows what tomorrow will be, things can happen in the blink of an eye and there’s a big olé bucket mouth out there with your name on it brother you just got to put in the work to find him lol. You ever want to sit on the bank with a bobber and a worm I’m still down or we can go chase a trout or two like we talked about. Fair play boat ramp is one of my favorites. Also going near Georgia, in that part of the lake called beaver dam creek that is a great place to fish.

I’ve been doing the Youtube videos for about 3 years and don’t even have 100 subscribers yet. That’s okay by me. I like to think the subscribers that I do have are just Elite!
