This still reminds me of my elementary school sweet heart (grade 7 - both of us were 11ish I was a month older) and wife of 4 years 2010-2014 (together over 14 years at that time). She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma(fancy word for her advanced breast cancer) 2 years prior to my graduation and there was no cure for her strain at that point - just a chemotherapy treatment to extend her life. I graduated in March 2014 and wanted to spend every second with her and we did. Until she died April 8th 2014... The last day we spent together (we didn't even know it yet, she seemed relatively fine in palliative care - but I could've been in shock/it was surreal). We listened to DBA. And I just imagined how I could've done things differently to spend more time I wish I could've put my degree on hold, despite how many times you begged me to finish first, but I'm still glad I was able to spend all the time we had. Rest in Peace Samantha. August 1991-April 2014. I will never forget you.

This song definitely defines my 2023. It was hard, I'd lost friends and a person who I thought was the right person to love to and stay with. I'd lost my father also... and my mother. But... I'll change my tomorrow, and I'll be at the top of the world... I'm not just saying... I'll prove it. I will be the best version of me. Remind this, 2024 ❤️‍🩹
