  • Your pool pond is definently the best pond on youtube, I think it is my favourite because it looks exactally like I would make one, btw that filter is really good! Huge difference
  • Thank you it answered all my questions . Have ordered this exact up light.
  • The UV will definitely help, but there are also other aspects to consider : manually remove the debris, make sure you have enough flow (1/h the whole pond volume), decrease the number of fishes (max 1 or 2 fishes per m3 of water), well dimensionned mechanical and biological filtration. Thank you for sharing and all the best.
  • I was of the understanding that it is better to place the UV light after the filter as that way the filter has removed the large particulates and the UV rays aren't blocked by particles.
  • Good morning Tobias! I just watched your video, another good one as always. Have you thought about moving your pump to the opposite corner from your waterfall? This will do a great pull of water from one end of the pond to the other. I think this will really help circulating, filtering and clearing your pond water. Just a thought to help you out. Have a great day!

Cool. I have the AA green killing machine in my aquarium and it cleared my tank up. Now it's crystal clear all the time it's so satisfying 😂.
  • Nice little fish pond you've got there I just got a 1200 gallon pool and thought of adding fish like you did yours

do you know the difference between the CW and PU versions of this clarifier? great video by the way.
  • I bought the NPU 13 for my 150gl tank,,and it's a beast I'm glad I ordered the small one so I thought 😂🤣🤣
  • Yes, UV clarifiers work. 7 days should be good enough to get the water crystal clear. If not, either the wattage of the lamp is not strong enough for the volume of the water and the amount of sunlight it receives. Or the filter itself is not that good. Because the UV kills the free-flowing algae and forms clumps of algae which will then be removed by the filter. If there is no good filter the UV alone is not going to help to achieve crystal clear water.
  • Hi Tobias, I've just bought a UV clarifier for my pond and Like you after two days I was getting a bit worried, but day three the water is getting slightly clearer, have you made a follow up video of your pond after two weeks? I would love to see the result
  • Thanks for the video, you should try getting a skimmer it will make your surface pristine 👍
  • Awsome video I would say there a few things leading to your water clarity not sure just algae there pine needles and leave that have blown in can't be helped but they will leach tanning into water that will make it brown and so will the wood if it is wood I see in there.and of course there is algae witch is because of being in sunlight but your uv should help with that but if it's not 100% clear and if that's what u want I would do a full water change and remove wood and leave ect and then keep netting out leave so they can't leach anything. But awesome video very interesting keep up the good work
  • Hey tobias how are u today loved the video today I can see the difference from day 1 to day 8 hope you are doing good 😊
  • Can’t wait to see what it looks like a week from now. Have you thought about getting a turtle for your pond?
  • What's up Tobias another great video like always your pond is looking good
