Every so often, if I need a smile, if I need a drop of adrenaline to energise myself, I come back to watch this.
  • My two most memorable visits to Ireland matches were, first, 1972 when Roger Pullin’s England team “turned up” the year after Wales and Scotland didn’t, that was huge, never seen a reception like it, and second, England at Croke. Never felt an atmosphere like it. Huge respect, bags of emotion.

  • It was a great game.... Intimidating for our chaps but the side that wanted it most won. Well done Ireland...😊😊👍👍

Jesus got fairly emotional watching this, brings back some class memories, gotta love Pauli for saying at half-time its like he hasn't played the first half - can Ireland replicate something like this today in England's backyard? i believe they can.

That was a special day, for lots of reasons, such pride that day, the lads, the result, the crowd, the respect, the GAA making the right decision, I bet they were worried, what a day.

I never realised the rugby lads cursed just as much as the soccer players.
