  • Great details on that one. Hard to perfect this pass. Defiantly found my self in a few tricky spots trying it. No reward without risk.
  • @mixxeerr
Really nice details on how to open the leg depending on how they cross their feet.
  • Thanks for the details. Failed this move several times after watching other vids with little details. This one should fix it
  • @guam58
The key detail missing is the whizzer side. You do not want to do this pass if you have an underhook or opponent has a whizzer. On the opposite head side you want to actually C-cup the armpit. This makes a huge difference when pushing leg down. You need to be as tight as possible w/ head pressuring opponents chin. Once you trap the foot you have to go back to center then you can use any type of half guard pass.

Do you do anything differently if they lock up a body triangle instead of standard closed guard?
  • @confusedChicken
before i even watch the video, where can i get that rashguard?!
  • guard guy seems like he could body triangle pretty well when lachlan switches to his side..
  • @Dylan-wx7ru
I really like the video, but I have concerns. The bottom guy has a Wizzer, which is NOT the same thing as you having an underhook. Also, this is a pressure pass, so in order to do it right I have always seen people putting pressure with their shoulders and head, on the opponent's upper body even going so far as to put the bottom guys head in your free armpit. And if you put your head in his armpit, while he has a Wizzer, I would imagine you get guillotined pretty easy.
  • @mavzolej
I wanna see him competing on juice.
  • @williamm4366
This a triangle me or omoplata the shit out of me pass seriously risky if your opponent is not sleeping on the mat it's a dicey move.
