Hundreds celebrated the annual transition from spring to summer at the Illumination Saddle, which sits on the west side of Mount Hood at roughly 9,500-feet elevation.

Pause the video at exactly 2:46 & 3:50. With the paused screen at 2:46, Look closely at the highest ridge in the center, and just to the left of the two peaks. With the paused screen at 3:50, look at the upper left round high point, just to the right of that. My screen name will give you a clue as to what you will find. Set your screen resolution as high as it will go, and be sure to be viewing it on a rather large screen. It is difficult to see what I'm talking about on a smartphone. KGW can delete my comment after they have at least taken the time to verify what I'm saying. You won't believe my photography, or take the time to look at it, but you will believe your own photography!
