What I love about mgk’s covers is that he always changes the song. It never sounds the same as the original, he doesn’t just sing the lyrics over the original instrumental and try to redo it, he does his own version.

MGK took someone else's song and breathed a life and emotion into it that honestly makes it feel like he owns it even more so than the original artist. Plenty of shade gets thrown this guy's way, but raw talent and passion on full display here. Absolutely love this❤️👏👏
