In this video we will show you how to make a diy table from oak. It was planned to make a table with a live edge, but since the holes from the pests were visible, we introduced our corrective into the oak live edge. We will show you how to make inlays from walnut, mahogany and maple. We will show you two ways to do inlay. We also made the frame of the table from oak. It was an interesting decision to NOT attach the top of the table to the legs, I think you appreciate that. thanks.

  • What I love most watching your videos is how well you and your son work together. One day many years from now he’s going to have all these wonderful memories and really appreciate all the time he spent with you. I really love this table. Everything you make is so unique.

Искренне РАД за ребят когда выполняешь творческую работу, отдыхаешь)))
  • I almost never comment on videos on youtube. I build canoes and small boats, and other small projects. When i came across your video, i watched it all the way through, with no distractions. At the end when you attached the top, and gave it a free floating look. Thats amazing work man, you've inspired me to try it out. You definitely got my like, subscribe, and bell.

Brilliant. Love the 'floating top' effect hardly anything 'connecting' it to the rails/legs, just looks simply gorgeous guys. Stunning! Job well done!

HE “Smirked” at the camera! He does love what he does. 👍

  • I, for one, am just so, so glad that at time stamp 7:22 to 7:36, you gave the viewers a very dramatic and redundant 14 seconds of the leather chisel pouch being unfurled. Let us not forget that this emotionally charged opening of the chisel pouch was accompanied with an exquisite close up of chisel choices with unprecedented acoustics when chisels were placed upon the work stock. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Simply and utterly breath taking!!!!

Really brilliant switching to the router for partial inlays. You have given me hope! Salute!

Are you kidding me? That might be the coolest most beautiful piece I have ever seen. The different colors of inlay against the oak, the "floating" bench above rounded spindles and lastly, the excellent soft angles of the table legs. Absolutely beautiful! You are the man my friend, I can't tell you just how impressed I am with your talent and creativity. I mean holy moley that is just beautiful.

Wonderful design. Accompanying music I can do without.
  • What a beautiful piece of work. The idea and craftsmanship were outstanding.
  • @voxnihili4066
Thanks for moving my mind forward, you brought me great ideas! And of course - beautiful work!
  • Beautiful craftsmanship……again! I love how you take creative risks with your designs, for example- in this piece I love your bold decision to leave a gap between the 4 legs and the outside edges of the table. This gives us an impression that the table top is almost floating above its base. Thank you 🙏 for sharing.
