It can be said that Sonic is like the wind, liberal, strong, adventurous, comfortable and caring. Impatient and often head into trouble without thinking, because his confidence never wavers, even in the most terrible troubles. He likes rock music. Some movies (like Underground and Sonic X) show that Sonic is afraid of water, mainly because he can't swim. Even so, Sonic still bravely dives into the water in underwater adventures or rescues friends. In the sports game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Sonic must wear a life jacket during the swimming competition.
