Tom crushed this--his verse, the beat, the hook, the outfits and of course Nova with the video. Tom didn't go hard because Dax was in the room. The beat and Tom and Adam's verses were already written before Dax came onboard. Tom sent several finished songs for Dax to choose from and he chose this one. He sent back a verse that was longer than Tom and Adam's so they added lines, but the basic energy and flows were there before Dax got involved. A lot of bars in Tom's verse are actually about the way he grew up. He was a country boy, he did hang out with a biker gang, he was the last one to leave any club, etc. Adam, who grew up in Chicago, talks about how different his life was from Tom's, but there are still similarities even though one grew up in rural Canada and one in Chicago. All three verses were fire.

I love your Tom, ACal, Dax, Nova reactions and really love that you guys try to support independent artists. I tried to see if you guys have started checking out Ren - couldn't find a playlist and doesn't come up in a search. If you guys do have some reactions to Ren, will someone please lmk the best way to find them? If you haven't reacted to Ren can I request you react to Hi Ren by Ren? It's a 9+ minute video. It's a live performance (he's wearing a mic, the guitar is plugged and I think the cameras have mics on them. Technically it's a one take video/live performance - they had 4 cameras filming from different places at the same time so the edits in the video is just putting the different camera angles together. ❤❤
