"Brushing is like praying. Not sure if it does anything, but it makes me feel better." 🤣 Will put that on a t-shirt!
  • "If you look at something and say 'it's not my style,' you are now morally obligated to give it a go" is actually really good advice 😂
  • Great video :) On a sidenote: I'll never understand why centers decide to use the color of the holds in order to determine the dificulty... it limits the setters options so much. Climbed in a gym where they did it like that a couple of times and it gets stale so quickly because you mostly climb on the same holds every week.

Whats needed next is a trip to boardroom deeside!

The new site looks great, the walls look so clean and seemless. Onwards and upwards for The Boardroom. Freddie smashing it, keeping pace with Captain Cutloose himself. Outstanding work both.

This is my new home gym so it's nice to see Louis giving it a go! Hope you come back again soon

21:21 That's such an interesting foot move, with the right foot, I have never seen that before (except when he did it like a few times earlier in this video) very smart. I find my self strugling where to put my feet sometimes when im at the last move, will give this one a go for sure!
  • "You can't ignore good advice you give other people"... as a climbing coach, I like to think I want to stay sharp and with both the best research as well as keeping familiar with the worst habits to help my clients correct them (I say as I spend maybe a minute between attempts and forgot a snack for a session that will be slightly longer than should)

The energy changed halfway through this, and it got much more engaging
  • Great video as always, but I really wonder why gyms still limit their setting by the color of holds 🤷‍♂️

This is my local gym now, since there wasnt one here earlier. Quite a nice gym, and recently they changed the system, so instead of a color being a grade, now theres little plates that tell you what grade it is, and I must admit I got confused when I was climbing a red one (used to be v3) and it was all jugs! Turns out it was a v1🤣

When Louis scraped his fingers on that purple crimp at 19:12 my hand reacted instinctively and shivers went up my spine lol 😆
  • I’ll dig out my wristbands and headband and get down there on Friday.
