Cape Town shore diving is HECTIC // Diving Cape Point

This is the second of several super rough iphone / gopro videos that I shot during my off days in Cape Town.

This time it's a quick trip to Cape Point with my friend Josh. Cape Point is one of the most incredible places i've ever seen. It's an absolute must if you're in South Africa, and I highly recommend getting out for a dive if you find yourself in the area.

  • Great spot....I Have awesome memories of buffels bay.....I dived it a lot from the 1990 as a kid and early 2000. Almost drowned infront of venus pools as a kid diving perlmeon ,alkricle and kreef. We could take abalone and Kreef, and braai on the beach any day of the week for four months of the year. Kreef now has a very short season to dive and collect ,to help population numbers recover and thats greatly needed, I on many occasions swam into huge 7 gill cow sharks and great whites in this spot...they will make you walk on water!....There are Orca in the area now......not sure I want to have that open water encounter..Thanks for sharing.
