  • 91 years later and I am still impressed to see this amount of creativity and sweetness!!!!

This is probably my earliest visual memory ever. Disney's old cartoons are so magically beautiful. They brought me such joy as a toddler that I can still recall the exact feeling ❤

Without any word, it told a story and we all understood it❤

This is what I wish Walt Disney studios still was now. The first Disney short movie I ever watched and my favorite silly symphony to this day. 🌹 🌲 🎶

This animated short, the first one in Technicolor, won the Academy Award for that category. Post mortem kudos to the Disney Studios creatives of that time!

¡Me encanta! 🎥🎞

"song: flowers and trees" ARGH! Well, NO. Chopin’s 'Funeral March', Schubert’s 'Die Erlkonig', plus 'The Storm' and 'The Dawn' from Rossini's Overture to William Tell'. Then we have the 'Wedding March in C major' by Felix Mendelssohn. Just in case anyone was wondering where Bert Lewis and Frank Churchill got "their" ideas for this score...

I remember watching this almost every day on my moms phone when I was younger
  • hard to believe something Walt Disney got an F for in school won him an academy award when animated

This was the first SILLY Symphony to win an Academy Award. Came out in 1932 during the beginning of the height of the Great Depression.

I remembered i first watched this on a China pressed VCD. Years later watching it again still amazed by the creativity of it. Giving flowers and trees human features just too amazing.
