THANK YOU for showing Odysseus being reluctant and hesitant, there's a REASON Athena argues later that he's never once cheated on his wife- (and the goddess of marriage AGREES-) both Circe and Calypso force him in a way that if the roles were reversed would have everyone agreeing it's a noncon situation. Consent given under threat or duress isn't consent, people.

I really love your portrayal of this song! I love that Odysseus looks uncomfortable and conflicted with Circe's advances! What I think a lot of people forget is that he literally does NOT have a choice in this. He has no choice but to give into Circe's coercion even though he doesn't want too- his crew has been turned into pigs, he's been at sea for years with no way to get home, and she's holding both his men and information hostage. He doesn't just give in to desire, he's pressured into having sex he doesn't want. Imagine if the roles were reversed- eeeshhhh.

I love how you clearly understand that Odysseus has no choice in this. Like Circe is the one who does all the physical touch and stuff and Odysseus is going wtf the whole time. And even at the end he is trying to pull away and when he eventually reluctantly agrees you can see he hates the idea. Like I hated the say no to this jokes the fandom makes because he is obviously being coerced. But then again our society doesn't care about male victims.

I love how you incorporated the original clip with Circe pressed up against the wall and then the bench, but you add so much more movement to the piece, and of course we get to see everyone’s full faces and expressions. It’s very fun.

I love Ody's expressions! The lil glances to the sides and then him making a "What are you doing???" face at 0:16. Poor guy! I'd like to ask, when you have her pushing the flower in his face, is that meant to be a spell? As his eyes look more "gray and swirly" as if dizzy from there on. Nice touch anyway! As he's uncomfy even if under a spell. Edit: just saw some other answers! Continuation of before, love that you still have him somewhat resistant but still loopy with him leaning/turning away. It's a sketchy situation and I'm thankful that you're portraying it the way it actually is.
