I have both of those saws. Both I have ported and are strong. Pruning 2511, removals 200t. Great video as always!!
-
Thanks Joe. These videos are invaluable for making decisions. As another person has said, "200T for removals and the smaller ones for pruning". Tendonitis is what every climber will want to avoid and the lighter saws help delay that. 3lbs may seem indifferent, but it's the repetitive three pounds of six plus hours of climbing 5 days a week for a climbers career that necessitates practical decision making.

Usually I go with the lightest saw I can get by with.
-
The 2511T is a joy to climb with. With a muffler mod, I don't find that it lacks power in anything you'd use it for. Little sucker rips. No desire to own a 200T.

Always informative videos to aid in choice of saw. Great job Joe!

Hey Thanks Joe I appreciate this video a lot. Don't know if you remember me asking you to dyno a stock ms200t and you replied how hard it is to find a stock one. Guessing this would mean my ported and decked 200t must have about 3hp. Thanks for listening to your subscribers requests and please keep the awesome videos coming. I check everyday hoping you've released another one. All the best

I really appreciate the response I love my 361s
-
I have a ported echo 355t. I LOVE IT
-
Damn it, nobody gives the 355T any love. The power is so much better over the 2511. Thx for the test Joseph👍🏻

Thanks for the videos and inspiration. I have a couple 2511t cylinders coming. They are cheap enough that I am going to start playing around with the grinder with my older boy.
-
I can't wait to get my 2511 ported❤❤
-
Thank you!!
-
Nice work Joe! I enjoy your videos.
-
Great video 200ts are strong working saws
-
Cool comparison joe. Any saw put on your dyno is an awesome video.
-
Love the channel. A cool video would be to compare max flow air filter kits vs stock filter
-
Thanks again joe

Nice video Joe!!

As a no-trim climber fuel capacity is key - if I can delimb, drop the top and drop a couple rounds to where the bar starts getting too small that's a big win. I go from a 200t 14" to a 362 25" when climbing. The 2511 ported would probably work too, but I'd jump to a 3/4 wrap 261 with an 18" bar when out of fuel on the top handle.

I wonder what a ms194t muffler modded and timed advanced would compare to a 200t
