SW fandom: Don’t try it. I have the high ground. Disney: You underestimate my power! Disney: * Force leaps SW Fandom:* cuts off Disney’s income as it attempts to brainwash everyone with its hypocritical wokeism Fandom: You were family entertainment! We loved you! You were supposed to continue George’s legacy, not destroy it! Disney: I hate you!!!!

Hate when writers take other peoples work, especially when it has a huge fanbase already, and try to rewrite it to be something else that suits their agenda. It's The Witcher TV show all over again.

Wait... She interprets Kylo teaming up with Rey as some kind of synergy between light and dark joining forces? How about Kylo joining Rey was actually just him turning back toward the light, becoming Ben again, and therefore it was NOT a combination of the light joining with the dark.

Screen Rant: "Another great example of Disney's new definition..." Yoda: That is why you fail

More people shaping Star Wars lore who don't understand Star Wars. Neat.

Can we stop changing the Force and just give me some Sith Lords?!
  • @turbog0503
It sounds like we're getting a character that uses the light and dark side of the force in the show with little repercussions, saying it's ok to use the dark side. I'm sure this won't cause problems.

when Yoda said "for the Force is my ally and a powerful ally it is" he meant that the Force means good to him, it helps him in his life, it's like a relationship between the 2 in the case of the Sith it's not a relationship, they don't hear the Force at all, it's just a Weapon to them, that corrupts the Force, in turn their body gets corrupted and decays aswell
  • I've been asking myself that same question over and over since "The Last Jedi".

"Anger and frustration are quick to give power, but they also imbalance you." - Ahsoka Tano So Dave Filoni reestablished George's idea of balance in Ahsoka, and now she's contradicting that in the Acolyte. Nice.

5:43 Exactly - that's what even Kyle Katarn says to Jaden. Powers aren't evil by nature, it's how you use them that defines you. I swear, more people need to read the story and journey of Kyle Katarn to understand what true balance is. He went all over the place and through him, we explored all variations of what the force does to you.

The concept of there being no light without darkness is not something she came up with, so first of all let's dispel that - Ridley Scott's movie Legend established this, as it was some of the final words Tim Curry's character shared with Tom Cruise's character before getting cast into the void in the third act of the movie. Secondly, Matthew Stover's novelization of Revenge of the Sith touched on this beautifully with this quote: "The brightest light casts the darkest shadow. The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back. Love is more than a candle. Love can ignite the stars." The way Matthew Stover describes it, the presence of light presents the scenario of an equal amount of darkness, but it only takes a small amount of light to undermine and defeat any amount of darkness.

What surprises me is that they think that LESLIE of all people could do Star Wars in a different way and better than George 🤣

'Close your eyes, what do you see?' 'I see a gigantic turd, at least 100 courics.'
  • @Vile.Amity.
Jedi: “I am a servant of the force” Sith: “the force is my servant”
  • @budemawa411
This is what happens when people are taught and obsessed with "deconstruction" and "challenging norms" they don't want to make their own stories they want to tear down things that are already there, it's sad and unimaginative.
