In this video I show you what a movement through a fourth spatial dimension would look like in our 3D World. I show you what crazy stuff would happen if a 4th dimensional being were to move 4D objects through our 3D space. Weird things happen like the sudden appearing of objects, shape changing, sudden mirror imaging and more! This video is helpful to understanding a 4th spatial dimension using the simplest object...a sphere. This is easier than a tesseract to understand because it looks the same from all directions.

What if 4d beings are now discussing what 5d looks like and using us as an example
  • @watamatafoyu
One thing a lot of people miss is that a higher-dimensional being can't see us from our perspective. They see everything about us except our perspective.
  • @judas_saves
Virtual reality can describe really well what it feels like to be a 4th dimension being. I played around with a tesseract in VR and it just clicked! I understood!

We are watching 4 dimensional theories in a 3d World on a 2d screen using a 1d video progress bar...

I would hate to do maths class in 11 dimensions world
  • @lazylonewolf
Honestly, the mirroring part is what fascinates me. Would love to see a "horror" or just a strange/funny story about a 4d being trolling our 3d world by mirroring stuff and seeing the chaos.

I've also heard a theory that if time is to be considered our 4th dimension (and I know that's a space of argument for a lot of people), and there were somehow 4D time organisms interacting with us that we wouldn't look like humans but more like insanely long worm creatures with baby bodies on one end and elderly bodies on the other end connected by "human worm" lol I imagine that would look quite interesting if a 4D creature viewed it especially since we're rotating around the earth so there would be this long stringy web of humans and everywhere they've been and everything they've interacted with and what we're seeing as 3D being is a slice of that which we know as "right now" It might be a silly theory but it was a fun thought experiment and its given me some new perspective on life in a few ways - what do I want my worm to look like if viewed from that perspective?

That stick man must've been freaking out the whole time as mysterious things happened around him.

Did anyone noticed how happy is the ball at 0:02???
  • @leadgindairy3709
I think of the 4th dimension as the next direction, after up down, left right, and forward backward, obviously inside outside. Inside and outside is the 4th dimension. That is how they can see inside of 3d spaces like cubes, or anything in the 3d; just like we see inside of the "squares" or anything set in the 2nd dimension. Pretty mind boggling. Hope that helps!

This man is trying to explain 4d object in 3d dimension on 2d screen to my 1d mind
  • @amitbhagat2310
He tried very hard and finally succeeded in confusing me.
  • @SamandDin
I imagine someone else has mentioned this, but another neat story that explores dimensions like this is the short story "Flatland" by Edwin A. Abbot. A large part of it is a 2-dimensional being describing how he and his people live in a 2-dimensional world. Then, he ends up meeting a 3-dimensional person.
  • @sibilm9009
The last statement was mind blowing "You can never hide anything in our 3D world from a 4D being"💪 "Everything would be present at the same time "🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • @keaqan
45k people disliked because they were disappointed this wasn’t actually a 4d ball in the video
  • @evieinfinite
dude, a 4d perceiving a 3d person from all angles at once must be like how people perceive minecraft skin layouts
