My sister in law in Houston inherited her Father's 57. 283 power pack same color. Sat in her mother's garage since 1978. All original. My Brother passed away before he could restore it for her.

I bought a 57 Chevy two door hardtop from a garage in West Virginia. Nice solid car. When we sanded down the body for new paint It was an original dusk pearl car.

I don’t care to know what the price was.. From what I saw & heard it was a fair price. I liked the questions you asked the seller. Plus the car still needs a lot of work if the engine is seized. Great video thanks from taking us along for the ride…

That car is beautiful!!! I was finally able to get my dream car years ago only to be laid off from work a month later, there went the dream car!!!

2 nice/rare colors, Canyon Coral and Dusk Pearl. Pretty much guarantee you that you won't see 2 cars of either of those 2 colors at the same car show or cruise in. What a great score. Loved the rear antenna(s), rear bumper guards and the backup lights

Wow I haven't seen my uncle Ed car for over 30 some years I'm glad to see it go to some one who will do something with it I remember sitting in that car when I was a little kid

Enjoyed that video. It brought back memories. I was born in Millvale. Family move to Harrisburg in 1957. Haven’t been back since 1998. Lived on Sherman Street across from the Moose. Had a few beers in the Grant Bar when visiting.

As much as it looked like it would be a PITA to navigate that property, the car came out relatively easy with no real hiccup. 👍

I used to work in the building you're parked at at the 18:21 mark! Lots of uh....interesting stories about things that happened there lol

I had a 58 Buick Super that color. Buick called it Laurel Mist. The top was Polar White.

Can’t believe you found this in Troy Hill!! Great job. 412 for life!!
-
A true classic. Can you please fix the door flappers? Can't stand it when they are stuck.
-
I'm glad to see they got this '57 and that it'll see the road again. I'm also very happy to hear that they take pride in the fact that you paid the owner a fair price and always do. I met these guys at Fall Carlisle last month. They're good fellas.

Sweet 57. That original color on the inside of the trunk lid is beautiful! Be nice to it repainted in that original color. I guess we'll see.

Always nice to find treasure in your own back yard. Looking forward to see if it runs! Cheers! 😎👍🏎🏁🏁
