Usually I don't make these types of videos but this tragic event really broke my soul so I had to say something about it..

At 10 AM JST KyoAni studios has been attacked by a sick individual and there has been over 30 confirmed deaths.

Down below are links to directly support KyoAni to bounce back from this tragedy. Even if you can't support financially please share these links to get the word out. Let us band together with the anime community to help this great animation studio that has both inspired us and got us through some dark times.

Anyone worried about the legitimacy of the gofundme, it was set up by a major U.S. animation company that has worked with KyoAni many times. If they were to mess with the donations in any way they would be committing absolute political suicide. I've seen concern about this reading through comments on this tragedy and wanted to make that clear. Also yes Japan on the whole is reluctant to accept outside help, but I doubt that they will make a big fuss about that given the circumstance. Even if KyoAni as a company doesn't take the money directly It could go to paying the huge hospital bills of those affected.
  • I’m so deeply saddened, anime brings me such joy and transports me away. We’ve enjoyed K-On! So much as a family as well as Lucky Star, I’m really just getting to know Kyoni. But Anime is what sparked a love for not only the Japanese Animation style (starting back in 1996 with Sailor Moon) but my love of their language, and culture. I remember drawing in manga style starting in ‘96 and a friend who said anime is not really Animation. I wonder what he has to say now? As anime, to me is truly a superior animation style.

In Japan, artists who work on anime are paid below the poverty level. All the money goes into the pockets of the high-ranking people. Kyoto Animation was the exception.

Meet the Pyro. Also, dont take this comment seriously. Its better for you to smile other than be mad. Dont cry because it ended, smile because it happened.
