My BMW 330e has it's pros and cons. I love how it drives and wanted to do a video talking through some of my favourite (and least favourite) modes!

Love the car and your vid. Keep up the good work Lucy

I agree with George about the steering wheel

Very good torque and bhp gains to be had from a stage 1 remap on this car if you like a more spirited driving, well worth it for a few hundred quid in my view, especially if you fully own the car and not tied to a lease. Would buy one myself if I had a charging port in my house, could use it on electric around town for pennies. Personally, I love the chunky steering wheel and the nice engine noise. For now stuck with my 335d.
  • I drove one of these today as part of my job and it felt similarly fast to a 340d m sport I drove a couple of months previously despite significantly lower tourqe figure-----couldn't quite figure-----.

Unusual to see a BMW with working indicators 😉

The range is interesting, on a full tank i get about 490 miles, about 35-40 electric, the rest fuel. probably depends on the model maybe. but 108 on half a tank and 3/4 battery seems really low, but i rarely drive it in Sport mode which drains the fuel

The new models haven’t got a stick shifter. Do you know how I would get my 330e in hybrid with sports transmission without it. I believe it’s just a vertical lever now. Great video btw 🔥🔥

If max charge is about £2 for 19 miles as you say, that's not a whole lot cheaper than running a 330d. There's only a £10 pa saving on road tax now for new phevs.
  • I understand why you keep comparing this to the S5. With that, you had a proper driving experience. A naturally aspirated V8 and a manual transmission. Sport mode? Just drive the thing harder! Seeing modern cars with half a dozen drove modes just depresses me. It means the car is never just doing what I'm telling it to do. Somebody else has already decided shift points and throttle mapping, and I'm just playing along with what they've decided that car should behave like. For five hundred a month, you could have an older S5, and some money put off to the side in case it needs servicing!

I am on my second G21. I had a 320d for 3 years, and since october I am the happy owner of a M340d. So no hate for the 330e from me.

Quite funny really, majority of people only buy BMW for the badge... and I wouldn't buy one because of the typical driver/owner 😂 so it doesn't really matter what BMW design, as long as it's got that badge people either will definitely or definitely NOT buy one.

100 mile range for half a tank?? You might as well have a V8

I have had reduce the playback speed on this video so my feeble brain can keep up with your talking speed woman🙃 Disconnected from the potholes mode sounds good
