Lumpia is one of my absolute favorite foods. I make lumpia for Christmas Eve every year, its our family tradition that started when I was in highschool. We had a few women from the Filipino community come and teach my cheerleading team and our parents how to make lumpia to sell as a fundraiser and it was our most successful fundraisers. I haven't met anyone who doesn't love lumpia. I personally don't like spring rolls at all, they don't come close to being in the same league as lumpia.

I've tried all kinds of lumpia. Popiah, sariwa, thai or vietnamese but the overall lumpia I like is Shanghai and togue in a Filipino way of cooking. Yummy!
