WARNING: Don't park you car under a tree with low hanging branches when there are goats. They'll climb on the car's roof to get to the leaves. Goat hooves & car bodies don't get along.

Came to learn about goats; stayed for the dog. :D

I came for the goats, I liked for the Bear. What a good, affectionate dog!

I don't eat meat. What I like about your videos is that you respect your animals. They seem well taken care of and I thank you for that.
  • BEAR'S TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO. LIKE A LITTLE CHILD WHO WANT HIS MOM TO GET OFF THE PHONE AND PAY ATTENTION TO HIM. CUTE HUH!
  • Bear looks just like a dog I lost to cancer in 2014. She was the smartest, most loyal dog I have ever had. She was a mutt too, and I really believe theyre the best dogs! Also, great informative video. I didn't know you needed to have more than one goat for them to be happy. God bless
  • When I was in art school we had to fill sketch books. We were expected to draw every day. While sketching goats at a petting zoo they grabbed my almost full book and destroyed it. They wouldn’t even give me the pieces. My teacher tried not to laugh when I told him a goat ate my book. I love them still.

I had goats a long time ago. They drove me crazy. I had no idea what I was getting into. I thought they were tame. Yeh right. Fun animals just determined as heck

Please do continue a series on goats. Trimming, milking, pest control, like fleas, ticks, worms, and such. Bear wants to play. A little socializing with family won't ruin him

a goat was given to me a few years ago, an old ornery hard headed billy. I put him in two acres of overgrown property. He did a wonderful job of eating the weeds, briars, honeysuckles etc. He was entertaining, comical and first cousin to Houdini. He had a knack for escaping. No matter the weather he wanted to be in the scrub on my two acres. He was happy down in that overgrown area. A sleet and freezing rain storm rolled in so I went down got the goat and brought him to the barn and put him in a stall. Next morning I went to check on the goat and he was not there but he had butted 3 boards off the side of the barn and he was outside covered in sleet and ice eating honeysuckles. His head was harder than concrete and he loved to be smacked with a broom or board. He would back up, then raise up on hind legs and come forward then drop down and run to be smacked, over and over. Numerous times he snuck up behind and head butted me in the rear end. I also had 3 dogs and he loved to play with those dogs. That old goat was quite the character.

All of your videos about owning goats are extremely helpful to a newbie.

That pallet on the ground by your "mama goat" gate concerns me. I lost a kid to a broken leg once when it slipped through the slats. I may be worrying about nothing but I had to say something. These tips for beginners ring true for me. I had to learn them the hard way. Thanks for sharing. A new SUB for me today!

Thank you! I am excited to share this. It is so concerning to see how many people get animals without any research first then end up on FB begging for help with a dying goat.
  • @Krisspear
Haven't seen this channel before, but I really like how laid back, natural and relaxed this video was.
  • I would love to see the series you were speaking about the actual care of goats! Especially hoof trimming, worming and vaccines! Love your videos!
