Godzilla is like "great these fucking humans woke me up. Time to find a new place to rest"

I love how all these pilots crash into these monsters even though they have the entire sky to maneuver through.

I love how much more emotive and grumpy this Godzilla is. He has no malicious intent, but he's so constantly easily annoyed. "Ah goddammit, you ruined my sleep. I'm gonna go elsewhere."

The CGI is so well done that it seems Godzilla is really there, that he really exists.

Ok, the animators did an outstanding job throughout this entire scene, Godzilla looked so clean that entire time and the close up of his eye was amazing

Damn, full body goosebumps. I love when we get close-ups of his face. Yeah, he's gigantic and intimidating, but there's also something so sweet and gentle about his face. The animators and the vfx and sfx teams REALLY outdid themselves.

I always get chills when we get a close up of Godzilla’s eyes. They look so human it’s kinda intimidating.

There is no way you can be that upclose to Godzilla's roar and not shatter your eardrums.

The way Godzilla gets up just reminds me that he’s been here for 200-300 million years. Like he’s really an ancient creature and has been on earth longer than most nature

If anyone was curious, Godzilla has his new spines from 2019 because between 2014 and 2015 he fought the MUTO Prime (which almost killed Godzilla) and he lost his spines from 2014 in the process, thus having to grow the new (and in my opinion superior) spines that we see in Monarch, KoTM, and Gvk.

I'm always impressed by MV Godzilla's non-reaction to humans like, "Hmmm....humans. How quaint. Well anyway, I'm off."

At 1:57 as he is turning around - I love that subtle "Side Eye" he gives them. As if to say - you all got some nerve waking me up... LOL! This was great.

The show certainly recaptures the sense of SIZE. This scene was just him standing up and roaring, and it's one of the best scenes in the show to this point.

It still bothers me so much that when Godzilla roars nobody covers their ears. That massive creature is screaming next to you, even blowing away dust and debris, and everyone just squints a little. It reminds me of that scene in Jurassic Park when the TRex roars next to the kids inside the car and they cover their ears and crouch, conveying the loudness and power of the creature.

After He Destroys MUTO Prime, he basically went to rest here and regained his Spines ✨

Now we know what Godzilla does in his leisure time. He loafs in the desert like my dog sleeps on the couch.
