  • A lot of people are twisting around the “bimbo” trend. It was made to just empower hyper femininity and girls supporting girls. However it became a “core” now and sadly due to how tik tok works now it became a “trend” and of course minors are gonna jump onto it. I just wish that more adult themes like that would not be allowed on this horrid app… or not get turned into an “aesthetic”.

I think there is only a problem when minors wear bondage-like clothing or anything obviously ment for adults. That is absolutely inappropriate, but no matter what someone is wearing, grooming, flirting, or being creepy in general is NEVER justified.

although I agree with this take, I just don’t want people to say that it’s our fault for getting groomed for lip syncing this song (like I saw like 5 people say this it’s unreal)
  • But when minors were lip syncing CPR by cupcakke yall stayed silent 💀
  • I do partly agree with this take just that, Yeah sure they can lip-sync it, Not that big of a deal. But on the other hand, if people are blaming Minors for wearing Adult clothing And Telling them It's their Fault for Getting Gr00med, Then that's a problem. No Adult should be Turned on by a minor even if they are wearing "revealing clothing". In my opinion, it doesn't matter what the clothing type is, It matters about the Gr00mer.

my take on the bimbo trend is that it was a slur used against women, and so now women (not children!) say "okay fine, call me a bimbo im not ashamed of my femininity" to reclaim it for empowerment, but along with other forms of sexual empowerment children see women doing it and think its empowering for them too, but in reality they are just exploiting themselves.

I'm 28 and it's extremely uncomfortable being on tiktok a lot of the time tbh. there have been lots of creators outed for lying about their ages to be over 18 but they were actually 15-16. It feels so creepy to me.

Some parents are just..gross- People who think this is okay or children who did this trend, do not have the right parents supporting them.

On my dads side of the family (a family I absolutely despise, other than a handful of family members) do not give a shit on what kids are doing. My aunt’s mom’s granddaughter, who is like 5-7 makes suggestive TikTok’s on a public account. The same aunt’s daughter (my cousin!) who is only 4 or 5 did some TikTok’s with the 5-7 little girl, posted them, and showed my aunt and her mom right after. They were like “aww that’s so cute. Now go away.” And the two little girls continued to make disgusting TikTok’s. Me (17) and my sister (who was fourteen, she turned 15 today.) we’re watching mortified! I even recorded some pieces of them doing the TikTok’s and showed my mom, who was also mortified. If I were to tell someone about it in that family I would be told to “Shut up. I’m just a kid, and their the adult so whatever I say does not mean shit.” Later on I found out that CPS was trying to find that little girl but her grandmother (aunt’s mom) was changing locations so cps wouldn’t catch them. Turns out her mom is a drug addict and her father wants his daughter back.

I feel like the bigger problem than future regret is kids being basically served on a dish to online predators.

It's not self expression, it's self sabotage. Honestly, the amount of minors on that app desperately seeking external validation by sexualizing themselves is saddening.

TBH I LOOOVE the aesthetic of hyper femininity & like the fashion (I'm 19) but I don't hypersexualize myself and I don't see myself as a hoe and I don't "think about dick" all the time. I'm more to the trend but not the hyperfixation of it. I don't see myself as a bimbo trend liker though, I'm just leaning more towards it. I just like being super feminine & people see it as me being a bimbo. Which is weird bc, what is wrong with being hyper feminine without thinking of sex & being a hoe. :|

Bruh when I was their age I accidentally heard “I want to see your peacock” by Katy Perry while I was listening to her CD in the car and my mom immediately shut it off and told me I wasn’t old enough to be listening to that song and it was very inappropriate and I was terrified of it for so long. It’s so crazy how things have changed
  • @spirit1988
I'm glad I got your opinion on this! I didn't know what to think of the trend, but now I have a better idea!
  • @snehaswati4987
I hate that kids act like this and when an adult tries to correct them they accuse them to be a pedophile
  • @wren2403
Personally, I think it's fine if minors sing this, or any song similar to this, as long as they aren't sexualising themselves. I agree with all the points you make
  • Watch all these “bimbos” turn into some different “core” next week.
  • @maxsfandomhouse
While I think minors can sing this song cause it’s fun, I don’t think we(minors) should be dressing up as an adult
  • @angeIfeather
Its days like these that I’m grateful I don’t have tiktok
