Nowadays, no matter how "emotional" the senators want to sound in their speeches, you feel nothing. Nothing but empty words no matter what to tone is. I miss the days when this institution was revered by the learned.

God has spoken. God will not allow a high institution to be defiled by numerous challenges that require a determined choice to ensure the Senate's integrity in every corner. No more 'utang na loob" group in which one of the reasons why Zubiri's leadership was disappointing. You were in the senate because of people's vote, in which you should be serving the country and its citizens and not your friends and personal interests. We hope you've learned a lesson in your journey from the controversial issues in which you weren't given good back ups. To Senator Escudero, we pray you will handle the senate fairly and without bias in order for you to be successful as a good leader.
