Iguodala is an extremely intelligent guy and is about his people and community. He takes pride in education and learning. Also glad that he has a solid relationship with Jaylen Brown, Kyrie and other players that want to stand for something other than just being an NBA player. He’s the guy that other players should look up to
  • This is probably my fave podcast now. No gimmicks, no trying to go viral…Melo is just being his authentic self and it’s still insightful and entertaining. Love the variety of guests that are interviewed.

It's crazy how Melo's reputation amongst actual players is beyond solidified, while casuals and the media try to paint a completely different picture. I've yet to hear a single player have a bad thing to say about dude. You see the deference that a borderline HOFer like Iggy has for dude.
  • The 6th Man is an EXCELLENT read‼️ Best autobiography I've read over the past 10 years ‼️

Melo has so much wisdom. Being max player who went through a journey in his last few years has given him a lot of perspective. He would make a great GM or VP of Basketball Ops.

As a sixers fan I remember watching almost every game that Iguodala matched up with Melo and Melo used to dominate him like a mf. It was crazy. A lot of younger people have no idea how unstoppable Melo was in his prime
  • What makes this the best podcast is the levity, calmness and informed takes and opinions. None of those crazy hot takes and click bait. But big homies, they did keep both OG and Bridges! Let’s go Knicks

Springfield, Illinois stand up! I’m from Andre’s hometown and grew up watching him & Rich McBride play at Lanphier. I was ball boy for Southeast their rival but always loved watching him fly thru the lane at the convention center City Tournament. As a kid I went to several of his youth camps. When I was in college, after he won finals MVP he came home and I was on his team at an open gym. He lowkey doesn’t miss during workouts It’s been great to have him as the standard for the city #217
  • lol “Back then it wasn’t no trainers doing all that , it was just Corey maggette “ 😂😂😂😂😂
  • @NuffSho
That "Maggette cut" story was legend 😂😂😂
  • I truly admire Iguodala work ethic in the court and how dominate he was. Now getting a better insight of himself as a person it’s phenomenal especially finally an athlete that can explain what the business side of the NBA is like. Props to Carmelo and his partner to bring him on the podcast I watched from the beginning to end 👏
  • melo really be stoned face while people give him hella flowers & say he’s one of the toughest ever to guard 😭 i love it
  • @whatsupdocx
These NBA player stories are getting better and better every podcast I see. The Maggette story is crazy.
  • @firmm4n
Wow, no practice facility in Philly is crazy. Makes the practice interview hit even harder
  • ONE OF THE UNDERRATED NBA LEGENDS!!!! Along with Mitch Richmond, Grant Hill, Glen Rice, Chauncey Billups, Robert Horry, etc.
  • Damn that hurt Iggy, "you a size 12 at 12 you ain't making the league" 😂😂😂 that's about when I stopped growing for real
  • @frazer4737
They didn't have a better record without Julius. They had a better record with OG AND JULIUS. Randle gets no respect man
  • @chancemack
The Unity problem is not a NBA problem it’s a human issue.
  • Great show part two is required. People make sure you request pt 2 if you want more. Great conversation.
